Join the CCNA Training and Capacity Building Program in Vancouver on April 13th, 2023 for Mining CCNA Gold II. The workshop is a follow up to the first Mining CCNA Gold Workshop and will focus on in-depth training with the LORIS team using data from the COMPASS-ND clinical study.

April 13th, 2023 – Mining CCNA Gold Workshop, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm PST

Travel Funds
Priority will be given to trainees planning to or currently working with COMPASS-ND and SYNERGIC Trial data. Abstracts should indicate whether the study does or does not include COMPASS or SYNERGIC Trial data.
Eligible expenses include the cost of an economy return flight, up to two nights’ accommodation, and ground transportation to and from the venue. Meals and incidental expenses will not be covered. Expenses above the maximum award amount will not be covered by The Training and Capacity Building Program or CCNA Central Administration.
Available Travel Funding by Province
Considering the location of the meeting, the maximum amount for a single award is $1,500, depending on the location where the recipient is based:
Residents of British Columbia = up to $500 CAD
(Residents of the Greater Vancouver Area are not eligible)
Alberta = up to $700 CAD
Saskatchewan = up to $900 CAD
Residents of Manitoba = up to $900 CAD
Residents of Ontario = up to $1000 CAD
Residents of Quebec = up to $1000 CAD (Residents of the Greater Quebec City Area are not eligible)
Residents of Eastern Canada (NB, NS, PE, NL) = up to $1500 CAD

Requirements:
To be eligible for a travel award, an applicant must:
- Be a CCNA trainee.
- Be working or planning to work with CCNA COMPASS-ND or SYNERGIC Trial data.
- Submit an abstract describing current or future work with COMPASS-ND or SYNERGIC Trial data.
- The total length of the abstract (background/purpose, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion) should not exceed 280 words, not including the title and authors.
- Up to 25 travel awards will be awarded.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Once the online submission has been completed, you will receive immediate automated confirmation of receipt of your submission.
- Language of submission is English only.
***Note Applications for travel funds will be reviewed as they are received until February 17th, 2023. Trainees will receive a decision notification within two days of application receipt.
